DANCE GENRES Ballet, Modern, Tap & Contemporary
HEAT VENUE: Bat & Ball Community Centre, Crampton’s Rd, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN14 5DN
CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES: Thursday, 27th June.
Candidates will participate in a 30-minute class in the dance genre/s they’ve entered. These classes, conducted by experienced professionals with extensive knowledge in the mentioned dance genres, aim to showcase the participants’ skills.
Area organizers will appoint adjudicators for the heats, with each candidate being marked out of 50. In case of multiple adjudicators, the marks will be averaged to determine an individual overall score. The top 5 scoring candidates from each category and section will advance to the Grand Finals of solo performances in Birmingham on Sunday, 6th October.

BALLET, TAP, MODERN & CONTEMPORARY 2024 THEATRICAL SCHOLARSHIPS.
🏆 AWARDS – The Scholarship winners of each genre and age section will receive a £100 prize fund and a trophy award. A payment will be issued to the School Principal of each Scholarship winner, this is to be used for their students continued training with that particular school. Runner up and 3rd place to receive a commemorative award. All finalists will receive a trophy of participation.
🏆SPECIAL AWARDS – These awards are chosen by our adjudicators and given to competitors who they think show potential or have stood out to them in some way but are not necessarily the Winners. Our judges will explain their reasons for choosing these candidates on the Finals day.
