A Message from our CEO, Kevin Page:
This groundbreaking competition is designed especially for Juvenile and Junior Medallists, both from the UK and overseas, who have taken an NATD Medal in Ballroom and Latin American within 12 months of the event.
💃 What makes this event unique?
•Solo dancing only – no partners required!
•Juveniles: Limited to Gold syllabus figures and below.
•Juniors: No figure restrictions, regardless of medal grade!
•Open to all eligible dancers without qualification rounds.
•Judged by a distinguished international panel of adjudicators.
This incredible event doesn’t replace the Medallist of the Year Competition (taking place on Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th July 2025in the Empress Ballroom). Instead, it offers an exciting, new opportunity for solo medallists to shine.
Looking Ahead to 2026:
To mark NATD’s 120th Anniversary, we aim to expand this event to include adult categories and even more styles like Classical Sequence and American Smooth. Stay tuned for updates!
