Ballroom & Latin Medallist of the Year
The NATD Ballroom & Latin American Medallist of the Year Grand Finals has been our signature event since its 2015 debut.
Set in the historic Empress Ballroom in Blackpool, this two-day competition features medallists of all ages and styles, showcasing their dedication and talent under the careful instruction of their teachers.
Freestyle Medallist of the Year
This competition celebrates students who pursue Freestyle dancing medals with the association.
Theatrical Scholarships
Back for its 5th year our NATD Theatrical Scholarships are a firm favourite. This event offers candidates the opportunity to participate in a 30-minute class in their chosen dance genre.
Solo International Medallist Festival
New for 2025, this exciting competition invites Juvenile and Junior Ballroom and Latin medallists (NATD) from the past 12 months to showcase their talents. Juveniles will dance up to Gold syllabus figures, while Juniors enjoy no restrictions. No qualification rounds are needed—just step straight in, judged by an international panel of world-class adjudicators!
Song & Dance Championships
This brand new competition will be launched in 2025 and will take place on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th October at the very charismatic Sutton Coldfield Town Hall. The Song & Dance Champs will run alongside our now well established Theatrical Scholarship event, however please be advised that this is a completely separate competition and you do not need to have pupils in the Scholarship Finals for them to take part in the Song & Dance championship.
